The NHS friends and family test (FFT) is an important opportunity for you to provide feedback on the services that provide your care and treatment. Your feedback will help NHS England to improve services for everyone.
It was introduced in 2013 and asks patients whether they would recommend our services to your friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment. This means every patient is able to give quick feedback on the quality of the care they receive, giving hospitals a better understanding of the needs of their patients and enabling improvements.

Absolutely Brilliant Eye Clinic the Staff and Consultant were very professional and treated me with great care and tenderness. My new lens has already changed my sight brilliantly I cannot the difference and improvement in my sight in my left eye. I can see things and colours I couldn't see before Many Many Thanks for restoring my sight I am eternally grateful 10 out 10 Regards, I can now text again and can actually read what I am writing.

ABSOLUTELY brilliant service, the easiest op ever performed by the nicest, most professional team of people. Everything was explained thoroughly beforehand and the whole procedure went like clockwork. I was able to sleep in the afternoon, had a really good night, too, and I do think that recovery is going well. Almost zero pain, needed no drugs, and don't seem to be allergic to the drops, thankfully. All in all, a very successful event, from my point of view, and enormous gratitude to all involved.

I could no be happier with my experience - the whole team were friendly, polite and professional. Initial appointment, follo-wup communication and operation were all conducted on time and were extremely efficiently administered. A change of date to allow for my availability was accomodated without any fuss or problem. the facility seems to be superbly run and the operation, as far as I can tell, was completed with minimal intervention and entirely satisfactory. Overall, a very happy customer - a credit to the NHS.

My 2nd cataract removal at Probus and both times the treatment and service has been excellent. From the intial admin cmmuinication and information thoughfully provided to the seamless reception and guidance and then onto the clinical testing, surgery and recovery. Every stage was friendly and efficiant with skilled staff in a comfortable environment.
They're amazing people doing an amazing job! But post-op stuff always feels a little lacking like a phone call a day or two later will go a long was as no one has questions just after.
Everything was explained and carried out with polite professionalism. Well done.

Friendly, careful staff who made me feel very at ease. Didn't rush me out the door at the end allowed me to sit and take as long as I needed before making sure I was okay to leave.
I thought the service was very good. The nurses and assisstants were all ery infmorative and helpful. surgeon was great. He answered my questions and has enabled me to have a normal life without the worry of risks of having unrepaired, pianful hernias which were limiting the activities of my daily life.

All staff polite friendly professional, HCA who did the eyedrops was reassuring, knowledgeable, fully informed me and a kind person, nurse at pre-assessment was equally professional and extremely pleasant to talk to as were the theatre nurses Becca and her colleague, again, friendly reassuring. surgeon is an outstanding eye surgeon, calm, reassuring with an excellent reputation.he kept me during informed that the procedure was going well . 11 out of 10 for Probus Surgery, regards

I was made to feel very at ease with surgeon. Everything was explained to me in a very concise way and was easy to understand, he was extremely kind, courteous. Other staff members at the Centre were also very polite and welcoming and there was a good amount of parking on site. The practice was spotlessly clean and had a very professional feel overall. I was very satisfied with my care and thank the team enormously.

I was seen quickly, diagnosed equally quickly, had the procedure explained clearly and then taken to sort out the nitty gritty with a very helpful and supportive nurse. My only criticism would be that I was asked to complete a form before the appointment, only for the nurse to complete the same form again.

The service I received was excellent. Easy access with really good disabeled parking and access to the building. I was received promptly and couteously. The consultant was very kind and explained the procedure, it's risks and likely outcomes clearly and honestly. I have just been given an appointment for the procedure on 14th November!
