The NHS friends and family test (FFT) is an important opportunity for you to provide feedback on the services that provide your care and treatment. Your feedback will help NHS England to improve services for everyone.
It was introduced in 2013 and asks patients whether they would recommend our services to your friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment. This means every patient is able to give quick feedback on the quality of the care they receive, giving hospitals a better understanding of the needs of their patients and enabling improvements.

HCA was more than helpful
The support staff are very professional and friendly. The actual procedure of the surgery was horrible although I asked for my hand to be held and that helped.
It was good. Nurses were all lovely and helpful.
Once in the eye clinic of the building it went very well. Staff were working very hard and even running to sort things However though my appointment was 11 am I didn't get called through until gone 12 md I am aware things can go wrong with previous clients, and I wasn't cancelled like some I would have liked to be informed they were running an hourv late when I arrived in reception.
Another good experience! I had a second cataract operation and all the team involved were polite and supportive and professional. Great hot chocolate !

I cannot fault the treatment & care in ANY way!! They were all SO kind & patient. The surgeons were brilliant!! I thank them all for restoring the sight in my right eye. I look forward to a similar visit next year, for the left eye. I thoroughly recommend Probus. It was all-- a) Very good!!

Thank you surgeon for your excellent diagnoses and care on both recent ops. I was very impressed by the Probus surgical unit, appointments were made swiftly, the unit looked modern and clean and the treatment given was excellent.
All the staff are professional, considerate, kind and compassionate. The hernia repair operation must happen so frequently that the routine holds no special fascination or interest for the clinical staff. However, whether it is in the pre-op room or the operating room itself, they make you feel as if you were their sole focus of attention. They make it very clear that you can signal discomfort or pain at any time and that they will act on it, which they do. Yet they also endeavour conduct conversation in order to distract you from the procedure. Everything is explained clearly.

My experience at Probus Medical centre was very good. I found there to be a good blend of informality and professionalism. I was kept well informed about each stage of the procedure and felt very much at ease.
Very good doesn't seem good enough. It was brilliant surgeon and the team are second to none. I was made to feel at ease and all was explained as and when it happened. A thank you is not enough for the service provided, but many thanks anyway 😊

I have been delighted with my two visits to Probus Surgical . Everyone and I do mean everyone was kind and helpful and were prepared and able to answer any questions you may have had . My surgeon was amazing and am so pleased that he was the person who did both my right and left eye cataracts .

Thank you for a prompt appointment & assessment.I attended Neurophysiology at Treliske today.The nerve test results were a shock.The consultant rang my GP surgery for specific blood tests to be carried out. I have a nurse appointment on Mon 24th Nov. I don't know if my operation date on 8th will be affected.

My experience was extremely good. I didn't have to wait for more than a few seconds, the staff were welcoming and understanding, the consultant was brisk and efficient. The risks of the planned procedure were explained. I was particularly pleased to be able to arrange a date for the procedure at the time and without having to wait for further communications.

i was seen on time by a pleasant doctor.Given options for surgery date which was in good time .
But… minor annoyance was speed of response to telephone calls; just like phoning a giant customer service centre where you get put into a queue and forgotten . Appreciate phones are ‘last century’ and human labour driven, so there has to be an interim solution to keep a customer informed.
