Overall, how was your experience of our service?
The NHS friends and family test (FFT) is an important opportunity for you to provide feedback on the services that provide your care and treatment. Your feedback will help NHS England to improve services for everyone.
It was introduced in 2013 and asks patients about their overall experience of the services they have used. This means every patient is able to give quick feedback on the quality of the care they receive, giving hospitals a better understanding of the needs of their patients and enabling improvements.

My experience on both occasions for cataract operations was EXCELLENT. I would like to say every member of staff were professional and friendly, also my surgeon put me at ease from the first time we meet until the conclusion of my treatment. I have told everyone who asks not to be worried about cataract surgery. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH
Hernia surgery went really well. Timing was spot on and every person in the process excelled in their task. Maybe the operating theatre was a touch cool but blankets to top and bottom warmed things up. I came away delighted at the professional approach by all concerned. Oh, and thanks for the hot chocolate!
Very professional and knowledgeable staff willing to help with any of my questions about the procedure. Tried to put me at ease during the procedure giving me constant feedback.

My experience at the centre for my recent hernia repair was excellent. I was kept well informed throughout the process by all involved in my care. My surgeon and theatre staff set me at ease. I was well informed re aftercare before discharge. My thanks to all involved.

I was very pleased with the way I was treated
Every part of the process was really professional and welcoming. Following the surgery the next steps were carefully explained. The surgery itself was excellent and i am grateful to the 3 staff who did everything to reassure me at all times.
Surgeon and the nurses were all so kind and reassuring, my surgery was actually a pleasant experience! I was so grateful that such effective painkillers, sedation and local anaesthetic were provided, which meant I was not in pain during the surgery. Thanks so much to all the staff!

I think it’s safe to say, no one ‘enjoys’ medical procedures…however, my experience so far with Probus clinic in general and a wonderful surgical team , and Nurses. I felt at ease, in very safe hands and reassured throughout the process. I would like to thank the team once again for looking after me, and can honestly say I’m looking forward to the same experience when I return.

Excellent service. Staff very friendly & efficient. Impressive turnaround. In less than a day I had full use of my eye with no complications or discomfort. Made a massive improvement to my eyesight!! The only way the service could be improved is to have milk chocolate digestives, not plain!!
What a lovely team of people you have working there, all staff very nice. Would be nice to have lockers for possessions or notify people to not bring anything with them.
